My journey in yoga
Hi, my name is Jo Walder and I run Jo Walder Yoga.
I have been practicing yoga for 20 years.
Yoga has been a constant through a legal career in the city, pregnancy and a busy life as a mother of two and I am so grateful to be able to share my experience of yoga with others.
Trained in vinyasa flow and yin yoga, I aim to facilitate in students a sense of wellness through mindful movement linked with breath, or stillness and contemplation.
My classes address postural issues and injuries caused by modern lifestyles, encouraging positive habitual movement patterns, improved proprioception, building strength and freeing tight areas of the body. Challenging and creative sequencing brings a sense of exploration and fun to my teaching.
- 200 hour training with Holly Warren at Yoga London (YA accredited) (2015)
- Pregnancy and postnatal qualified (2016) (YA accredited)
- Advanced 60 hour Yin training with Austin Ince (2018) (YA accredited)
- Additional training in anatomy, adjustments and safe sequencing
